It seems to be difficult to thumbs up the previous song while listening to a radio station. You have to switch tracks back to the song, thumbs up, then go back to the song you where at.

In Win7, it seems that admin access is required to simply use the app. ("Do you want to allow the following program from an unknown publisher to make changes to this computer?")

Is there a reason for this and can it be changed?

Cannot run application, installation goes fine but program will not open.

Could it have something to do with the .NET Framework? There's no windows update available. Also think it could have something to do with Norton Internet Security, but I find that to be unlikely.

On-Topic: I had this working just fine on my last OS install, but I wiped a few days ago, and now I get this same error message.

Was running Win 7 x64 Home Premium, now running 7 Ultimate.

After running the app the first time, the play pause back and forward media keys worked beautifully, but the next time I ran it, they did not. I thought it might be something on my end, but the keys still work fine with other media players. In addition, I have tried a "clean" version to no effect.

Issue is fixed as of 4/23/2013, did not take any additional steps (that I am aware of)

Created Issue: Play/Pause button makes double press [8572]

I'm using Windows 7 Premium and a Logitech K350 (unified wireless). When I hit the Play/Pause button on my keyboard, it plays and then immediately re-pauses. If the player is already in Play mode and I press the button, it pauses and then immediately resumes. I have two K350's, and this happens with both, but does not happen in other media players (like Windows Media Player). Also, the media keys on the Dell laptop I'm using work as expected (no double-press). Any ideas?

Determined the source of the issue. If the Logitech SetPoint process is running then the media keys do not work.

Google Play Music already has a duplication detection system that identifies songs by metadata. http://support.google.com/googleplay/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1246401

Are you uploading songs from multiple locations?

When I start the application it appears on one monitor screen. I can use the middle mouse wheel to scroll around and such. when I move the window to another monitor however, scrolling will no longer works. I can still press the middle mouse button, and quickly scroll, but the wheel or my trackpad wont scroll. if i move it back to the first monitor, it will work again.

If the program window is not on top the media keys wont do anything. I tested them in winamp and they work there.

I can't get the app to load the content of the music player. It says flash isn't installed and flash fails to install. This problem is similar to when I have tried using 64-bit IE to browse flash websites as that's not supported. If this is using IE is there any way to see if it is using 32 or 64 version and/or set it to 32-bit?

I had the same problem, I use chrome has my primary browser and I don't have firefox installed. I've also resolved the issue by installing flash for other browsers http://get.adobe.com/br/flashplayer/otherversions/

In "Songs" view, with a lot of songs, the thumb slider for vertical scrolling becomes very small. It's not an issue in when seeing google music in full firefox because the slider has a minimum size (detected from the windows theme). I guess it's because XULrunner is based on quite old versions of firefox ?

I have a milti monitor setup, and for some reason, the screens got jumbled, once I had straightened that out, I find the mini player is nowhere in sight, it works fine from the main page, but I cant find the controls.

I guess a reset to center of main screen feature would be nice, to overcome this issue...

You can correct his manually, by playing with the config file.

You can file the file here:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\ExtenDev\GMusic.exe_Url_a0tcvuxhsnk2edm3055fhqcvzrsln3jx\1.0.1.0\user.config

Just change MiniPlayerLocation to something like 100,100 and you should have access to it again.
